Our products are divided into three grades:

Grade A: This category comprises pods which are whole, sound, supple and full, of typical flavour, of uniform dark chocolate brown to reddish colour, and without any stain other than the mark.The length is over 16cm and the maximum moisture content is 38%. The vanillin content is between 1.6%-2.4%.

Grade B: This category comprises pods which are whole sound, supple and full, of typical flavour, of uniform dark chocolate brown to reddish colour, and which may have a few stains, the total length of which does not exceed one-third of the length of the pod. The length is over 14cm and the maximum moisture content is 38%. The vanillin content is between 1.6%-2.4%.

Grade C: This category comprises pods which are whole, sound, more or less supple, of typical flavour, of reddish colour and which may have numerous stains, the total length of which does not exceed half the length of the pod, as well as a few red filaments which do not exceed one-third of the length of the pod. The length is over 10cm and the maximum moisture content is 30%. The vanillin content is between 1.6%-2.4%.

Application

1)gives a full-bodied vanilla taste with lingering aromatic richness which is very pleasant and satisfying in taste.

2)imparts a rich vanilla flavour with a full aromatic background taste which can be described as a hint of caramel with sweet resinous sensation which enfolds the inner creaminess of vanilla taste.

3)particularly recommended for flavouring premium ice-cream, milk shakes, chocolate products, toffees, milk candies and bakery products such as cookies, cakes, cream filling and wafers biscuits.
