Melamine FYL-1157 is a methanol/n-butanol highly mixed etherified amino resin produced in mainland China, with a methoxy:butoxy ratio (molar ratio) of about 75:25 and a high solids content. Its surface tension is relatively low, with good interlayer adhesion, excellent leveling, high crosslinking density, and good resistance to salt spray.

FYL-1157 has a high degree of etherification and low reactivity, so acid catalysts (such as PTSA, DNNDSA) are required to promote cross-linking and curing.

FYL-1157 is widely used in anodic electrophoresis, coil coating and other metal baking paints in the Chinese market. It has been maturely used in the Chinese industry and has high cost performance.
