Product Description
HIPS 7240 are very high impact polystyrene used in extrusion industry. This grade is designated to be diluted
with crystal polystyrenes (such as GPPS 1240, 1340 or 1540).
The good melt strength of this grade makes it particularly suitable for deep-draw thermoforming. HIPS 7240
are available in white color.
Density: 1.04gr/cm3 (app.)
Shrinkage in mould : approximately 0.4-0.7% (ASTM D 955)
All tests are carried out at 23OC , unless otherwise stated.
