Stainless Steel Reverse Dutch Wire Mesh Cloth
Stainless Steel Reverse Dutch Wire Mesh Cloth is a high-performance woven filter medium engineered for applications that demand both fine particle retention and strong mechanical stability. It is produced by interlacing warp wires that are noticeably thicker and fewer in number with weft wires that are thinner and more densely packed—effectively thereverseof a standard Dutch weave. This structure creates a very narrow, triangular flow path that can trap extremely small contaminants while still offering high flow rates and excellent pressure resistance .
Key features
- Materials: AISI 304, 304L, 316, 316L, 321, 310S, 904L or duplex stainless steels; special alloys on request .
- Mesh count: 54×15 up to 350×40 (warp×weft), with wire diameters from 0.13 mm×0.27 mm to 0.45 mm×0.60 mm .
- Thickness: 0.6 mm1.75 mm, giving robust cloth that resists deformation under load .
- Weave styles: Plain Reverse Dutch (RPD) for balanced strength and filtration; Twill Reverse Dutch (TRD) for even tighter pore control and higher pressure duty .
- Surface: smooth, hard, corrosion- and heat-resistant (up to ~800°C); easy to back-flush clean .
Typical applications
- Fine filtration of polymers, paints, pharmaceuticals, edible oils and fuels.
- Support screens for vertical leaf filters, filter presses, centrifuges and extruder packs.
- Separation of catalysts, pigments, dyestuffs and chemical intermediates.
- Aerospace, automotive and hydraulic systems where reliable particle removal under high differential pressure is critical .
Because the cloth can be custom-slit, welded or fabricated into discs, cylinders or leaf elements, Stainless Steel Reverse Dutch Wire Mesh Cloth is one of the most versatile precision-filter media available for industrial process streams.
