Perfluoroalkoxy (PFA) rods are a chemically modified form of PTFE resin. They combine many of the benefits of the parent resin with several new ones. PFA offers both melt processing and the same upper continuous temperature as PTFE, i.e., 500°F (260°C). Additional benefits may include enhanced purity and improved thermal stability.
