Eastern Roots was started by Kusum Nanda after 6 years of running the Indian opertaions of an American Importing company called "River Of Goods " .                 Kusum has great experience in sourcing and exporting goods like Rugs,  Wooden and Metal handicrafts, Furniture , Home Decor , Accessories and Stock lots.   

Kusum has travelled to the small towns and villages where these hand crafted items are made by tradional craftsmen who have learn their art through generations of this work. Kusum has also travelled extensively abroad and knows the tastes and working styles of the Western buyer.
