This is leather which you will not see anywhere else in the world because my grandfather purchased this leather around 40-50 years ago. These are all very interesting leathers. Most of the leather is from fancy women's shoe production. There is kid, calf, cow, etc. Most skins are very clean, approximately 2 1/2- 3 1/2 oz in substance. Much of the leather is tender, meaning that the leather will need to be backed if made into a product as the leather has lost some of its tensile strength. As skin vary in size depending whether it is kid, calf, goat or cow, it is being discounted by the square footage which you order.
