The old name of this plant is Corylaceae also called as Avellana among scientists and botanists. It`s a two meters high shrub with which can also measure up to 6 meters in favorable areas. The leaves of the hazelnut tree are wide. They are two types of male and female that appear in form of hanging spikes in autumn.
