  Musang King durian is harvested entirely from the ripe and fallen durian fruit, so it gives off a superior richness and aroma. The durian is not too sweet and has a bitter taste like an avocado. This is the easiest way to distinguish genuine Musang King durian.
  
  External characteristics of this durian are not too large, oval in shape from left to right, dark green in color. The spines of the durian are very large, well-spaced, shaped like miniature pyramids (most other durians have conical spines).
