- Essentiolitt is our biosecurity solution for the livestock industry. Essentiolitt I is a formulation used against Alphitobius diaperinusalso known as the lesser meal worm or poultry litter beetle. These pests of the poultry house are vectors for highly pathogenic viral and bacterial diseases in poultry. These diseases include Mareks, Salmonella, E.coli, New castle disease, avian influenza and many more. The beetles also cause severe damage to the infrastructure of the poultry house in search of pupating sites. Essentiolitt I controls and eradicates all stages of the lesser meal worm and also ensures unfavorable environment for them to prevent re-infestation. Essentiolitt I is a multifaceted herbal beetle control program having selective insect control which ensures selective mortality of only the darkling beetles using the principles of biological control. Essentiolitt I is safe to be used with the flock and contains no hazardous chemicals or fumigants harmful to birds or Labour.
