Origin: It is a legume, edible fruit ripened grain, dry whole yellow, that develops within a sheath of the species Phaseolus vulgaris ^ ^, grown in the north and south coast of Peru.

How to uses: As a food uniform, suitable for human consumption, rich in proteins, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, minerals and vitamins. Their preparation is conditioned by a 12-hour soak with pure water and cook in pressure cooker (preferable). Consumption is recommended twice a week.

Features: cowpea is top quality, because quality control is indicated in selected fields harvesting, preventive disinfection, cleaning, sorting, machine and hand selection (HPS), calibration, packaging and storage. The whole process under strict sanitary control.

Color: Yellow. Gauge: approx. Grains/100 260 grams. Humidity: 14 percent maximum.

The new crops are available annually from the month of August there own production of more than 100 tons per month until March next year.

Packing: in new polypropylene bags with 50 kg./25 kg. / 100 lbs. Net weight each. Shipments are dry containers of 20 or 40 feet up to 22 tons each.

Storage: If done proper storage in a cool, dry, ventilated, indoor and on pallets, the product will have a life of over two years.
