Suillus luteus or Boletus Luteus, also known as slippery jack or sticky bun, is a basidiomycete fungus of the Boletal order. This fungus has no preference in the type of land, but grows under the species of Pinus genus, where is commonly found. The productive body appears from summer to autumn. "Luteus" specifically means "Yellow". All the species of the Suillus genus are mycorrhiza of conifer.
