PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS:
Sodium Sulphide is strong reducing agent and reacts with oxidants. Readily soluble in water, slightly soluble in alcohol.
APPLIED DIRECTION:
1.1. I is used in water treatment as an oxygen scavenger agent, in the photographic industry to protect
develope solutions from oxidation, in textile industry as a bleaching, as a desulfurizing and as a
dechlorinating agent and in leather trade for the sulfitization of tanning extracts.
1.2.It is used in chemical manufacturing as a sulfonation and sulfo-methylation agent. It is used in the
production of rubber chemicals, sulfur dyes and other chemical compounds.
1.3. It is used in other applications include or flotation, oil recovery, food preservative, making dyes, and
detergent.
STORAGE & SHELF LIFE:
It should be placed in dry, cool condition below 25 Degree C under shelter, it should be kept away from
high temperature and direct sunlight.
Shelf life to be 6 months under recommended storage condition.
