But now we found that determining the molecular weight distribution of Astragalus Polysaccharide by gel permeation chromatography (GPC) can distinguish the two accurately and efficiently.
(1) Direct Astragalus water extract (Sample I) molecular weight distribution

(2) King-tiger Astragalus Polysaccharides (Sample II) molecular weight distribution
As shown, the molecular weight distribution of Sample II focused around 15, 000 (10000-25000) (shaded in green), fully in line with the characteristics of Sample I.
